Y7-Refresh

in this year I learned a lot of things, I think those knowledge can help me after 10years, 20years. I can't forget any part of my Year7 ict memory. And I want to thanks Mrs. Kavita, because she helped me, spoke to me...
first thing that I learned is case study 1, presenting information. It's about use microsoft powerpoint to presenting about subject. also that's my favourite subject.

CASE STUDY 5.0

1)      How many different things did you count? What were they? In what ways might computers be used to control different things in the supermarket?

A:  There are 6 different electrical thing in Mikes day, and there are AC, car park barrier, freezer, parking sensors, public lights, automatic opening door.;

2)      Why is it useful to use computers rather than people to control things? What problems might there be if any of the computer system fall in the supermarket?

A: Because when computer is calculating is faster than when people are calculating. If the computer system is fall in the supermarket than it will cause 10 to 15 minutes to work.

3)      Describe the inputs and outputs for the other devices that we have talked about so far. How do the super market doors and car park barriers know when to open? Identity other control systems that work automatically in this way.

A: The control system will detect things in a certain area. Therefore the door will open if things are in that area.

4)      What would happen if the instructions were wrong? These instructions assume that the car is in the right place. What would happen if the car were not there? How could they stop this happening?

A: The car will not work properly, because some parts of the car went wrong. So it will cause the car not to work properly. E.G. The brake cannot stop the car from moving, etc.

HW 2.2 Does Nessie exist?

YES.
Google(Wikipedia):Loch Ness Monster (Scottish Gaelic: Niseag) is a cryptid that is reputed to inhabit Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands. It is similar to other supposed lake monsters in Scotland and elsewhere, though its description varies from one account to the next.

NO
Google(http://www.loch-ness-monster-nessieland.com/):

Does Nessie exist?

A vast amount of evidence to suggest the Loch Ness Monster is real has been amassed over the years and it is unlikely that Nessie is a merely a figment of the collective imagination. There may be those who believe that the Loch Ness Monster is not real and merely an illusion but there are also many who, having borne witness to unexplained disturbances and visions on the water, remain utterly convinced by what they have seen.
